Il 16 marzo, il prossimo dramma di TVN, Navillera ha tenuto una conferenza stampa online con il suo cast principale: Song Kang , Park a Hwan , Na Moon Hee e Hong Seung Hee.
Basato su un popolare webtoon con lo stesso nome, Navillera parla di Duk Chool (Park a Hwan), che inizia il balletto all'età di 70 anni, e Chae Rok (Song Kang), un ballerino di 23 anni che si perde mentre insegue i suoi sogni. È diretto da Han Dong HWA ( Squad 38 , Miss Lee) e scritto da Lee Eun Mi ( Tunnel ).
Alla conferenza stampa, Park a Hwan ha detto, il mio personaggio, Shin Duk Chool, inizia il suo sogno a lungo nascosto di balletto dopo aver compiuto 70 anni. Ho letto il webtoon e ne sono stato commosso. Ero un po 'in conflitto se assumere il ruolo perché sapevo che avrei dovuto fare da solo ed è stato un grande peso da affrontare. Ma ho deciso di provarlo. È la prima volta che assume un ruolo così leader in una mini-serie. È un grande onore e fonte di felicità per me.
Ha aggiunto, ho deciso di fare il dramma per dare alle altre persone la mia età il coraggio di perseguire i loro sogni. Alla nostra età, i nostri campi di lavoro tendono a diventare più stretti, quindi questa è stata un'offerta molto fortunata per me. Il balletto è una modalità di espressione aggraziata e flessibile, ma il mio corpo era rigido e ho trovato difficile da fare. Ho anche pensato che fosse impossibile. Ma questo dramma non riguarda il fatto che Duk Chool diventi un ballerino di balletto professionista. Si tratta del significato di affrontare una nuova sfida. All'inizio ero imbarazzato a indossare i vestiti da balletto, ma dopo un po 'mi sono abituato.
Song Kang said, Chae Rok is someone who is bad at expressing himself. He started ballet at a later age than most people, but he has a lot of talent. He loses his way after his dreams collide with reality, but he meets Duk Choo and slowly begins to mature. I had a lot of concerns about taking on the role of a ballerino. It was important to pay attention to the overall lines of the body. I watched a lot of videos and thought a lot about how to express these lines in detail.
Ha aggiunto, ho imparato il balletto per circa 5-6 mesi. Piuttosto che qualsiasi abilità di alto livello o esperto, mi sono concentrato su linee e dettagli. Sono un attore e mi piace vedere il mio corpo cambiare, quindi mi sono divertito a farlo.
Park a Hwan described working with Song Kang as, We started off weak at first. But he was like a sponge and absorbed things fast. Among young people these days, there are many who don’t like it when people tell them to do things. Because it sounds like scolding or nagging to them. That’s why actors don’t always talk a lot to each other. But Song Kang absorbs whatever we said and made it his own. He became a totally different person between the start and end of filming. At first, it was awkward to go back and forth, but later all that disappeared. We became immersed in the story and could relate to each other.
